2023 WUFS FILM FESTIVAL WINNER Synopsis: On a hunting trip with her dog, Rue, an inexperienced hunter living off the grid, discovers a humanoid-like creature with unexplainable abilities. She decides to bring the creature back home, where she nurtures it as if it were her own child. However, Rue quickly realizes the horrifying reality of the thing she brought inside. She forces it out of her house, no longer valuing it as a child, but it returns to torment her even further. Soon, the creature breaks into her cabin, causing Rue to defend herself and kill the creature she was motivated to protect.

This experimental film illustrates the emotional reactions and meaning produced by the human eye following a series of comments and situations. Through sound, a rhythmic pattern is represented by corresponding the beat to the visuals represented.
